Zodiac rabbit concept sketches

At first, I was going to create my rabbit character with a very magical mage look to her, but as I sketched her designs, I started to like the mage idea less and less. It was after stepping away from the project for a while that I thought a jester/harlequin look would be a step in the right direction. I'm not sure why I took my rabbit designs in a Looney Toons direction.

So I get the honor of creating a regretful, Spanish Knight and as to challenge myself, I decided to make the character since I don’t create a whole lot of female characters. I do enjoy this concept, a female warrior in her 40’s-50’s that has spent most of her life as a warrior and wonders if the legacy she wants to leave behind is one painted in the gore in his enemy’s; however I can’t imagine this character outside of a renaissance period.  Maybe this particular concept could exist in a Samurai Jack type universe.
